Why a web ring and why now?

Fellowship

At this time, the Wood-Paneled Web Ring seeks creators (artists, writers, designers, etc.) to join the ring. Joining the ring requires access to a website’s html, so folks solely with social media feeds or LinkTrees and similar can’t partake; however, you can still request to be included on the ring’s central directory.

To apply, please email the webmasters. Membership is determined on a case-by-case basis – involvement in a hobby that seems suited in some way to a wood-paneled room is a plus! Since this is a volunteer effort that is evolving on the fly, please grant us your patience. At the start, we’ll only be bringing folks on in small groups, to make sure nothing breaks.

Code of Conduct

By joining the ring, you agree to follow the Code of Conduct. The central pillar of behavior of the Wood-Paneled Web Ring is: Don’t be a jerk. Following this credo ensures your good standing and camaraderie, by definition. No doubt, the code will expand over time.

It should go without saying that racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism and any other bigoted or discriminatory behavior is grounds for immediate removal from the ring. However, we live in a world where that needs saying, over and over again, so let us repeat: racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism and any other bigoted or discriminatory behavior is grounds for immediate removal from the ring.

What is This?

Wood-Paneled uses the wonderfully simple Onion Ring script to run this TTRPG web ring. Check them out and start your own web ring.
